Homeschool Homestead.

It has been a while since I have written.

I have been extremely busy with getting the kids (and myself) back into the routine with school.

It has been quite different this year with Grace being a princess,tantrum-throwing 4 year old.

I ask the Good Lord for patience and he throws us some curve balls!

Over all it has been a blessing to be able to School my children for going on two years.

Some days I want to quit but then I am quickly reminded by God that it is what is best for all of us!

Who would have known I would be being taught life lessons through my children every... second... of... the ... day.

BUT at the end of the day, I find it fufilling and a JOY.

I hope to be able to write a story time blog this coming week now that we are starting to settle.

Here are a couple of photos of what the kids have been learning about;

Human body science lessons, counting and sorting animals.

Creative math stem projects along with baking cupcakes for measuring capacity!

With the wild fires in the area and Graces asthma acting up, I got more behind, but this was two weeks ago when they dissected a flower & learned all about the parts and functions:

And of course In between school days, we like to teach homesteading and survival skills for our children to always have. You don't get this type of stuff in Public School ;

Although Momma seems to always get the Highest Achievement Student Reward in this class... hehe

I've had plenty of Practice and Study Hall!!!

"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it”

Proverbs 22:6
